Inca Trail

The Inca Trail is one of the most famous trekking trails in Peru. During the four-day trek, the hiker will cross through a number of altitudes and come across dozens of ecosystems situated between 9186 and 13 120 feet above the sea level (f.a.s.l.).In addition they will also be able to take in a splendid view from the imposing snow-capped mountains in the region. The Inca Trail visits the beautiful stone citadels of Phuyupatamarca and Wiñay Wayna, among 16 other archaeological sites before ending at Machu Picchu.

Day 1

Inca trail - Llactapata

We will pick you up at your hotel very early in the morning. Then we will take you in a private bus to Urubamba at approximately one hour from Cusco. There we will have breakfast before we arrive at the kilometer 82, where we begin the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. After a 3 hours walk approximately, we will stop for lunch. We will continue towards our first camp in Huayllabamba.
We will visit Llactapata's archaeological Complex. Finally we will have dinner before going to sleep.

 

Day 2

Inca trail - Warmiwañusca

We will have breakfast before beginning our trek towards the highest point of the Inca Trail, where we will have the chance to observe different microclimates until we arrive at Warmiwañusca at 13 780 f.a.s.l. Here we will have lunch. Then we will continue walking until we arrive in Pacaymayo, where we will have dinner before turning in for the night.

 

Day 3

Inca Trail-Sayacmarca-Wiñaywayna

After breakfast we continue our trek. After 45 minutes we will arrive at the second most important place of The Inca Trail at 12 630 f.a.s.l. We will visit Runkurakay's archaeological Complex and Sayacmarca .Later we will continue walking towards Puyupatamarca ruins.

After lunch we will go to Wiñaywayna, to visit this beautiful Incan Citadel. We will have free time before having dinner.

 

Day 4

Inca Trail- Machu Picchu

After having breakfast we will begin our last day of trek in order to arrive in the lost city of The Incas : “Machu Picchu”. First we will arrive at Inti Punku, from where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the Citadel of Machu Picchu. When we arrive in Machu Picchu we will visit the archaeological site for about 3 hours . Finally we will have a meeting of the group to go to the town of Machu Pichu to take lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, we will return by train to Cusco City where you will be taken to your hotel
