Day 1
Cusco
Private transportation will be available from the airport or bus
station to your hotel.
We suggest that you rest in order to let
your body get adjusted to the altitude.
A city tour is going to
be conducted in the afternoon to see the main attractions such
as the Main Square, the Cathedral, and the Temple of the Sun “Qoricancha”,
the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and
Tambomachay.
Day 2
Sacred Valley
After breakfast you will be on your way to the Sacred
Valley of the Incas where you will visit the town of Pisac, the church
Andean handicraft market where you can buy hand- made articles at extremely
low prices. Later in the day you will be taken to the Urubamba Valley, an
area with amazing natural beauty and an unforgettable landscape.
After lunch we will take a trip to Ollantaytambo and
it's impressive archaeological site. Before returning
to Cusco we will pass by Chincero, a town rich in
culture and archaeology.
Day 3
Inca
Trail
Early breakfast
We will pick you up at your hotel very early in the
morning. Then we will take you in a private bus to
Urubamba at approximately one hour from Cusco.
There we will have breakfast before we arrive at the
kilometer 82, where we begin the Inca Trail to Machu
Picchu. After a 3 hours walk approximately, we will stop
for lunch. We will continue towards our first camp in
Huayllabamba.
We will visit Llactapata's archaeological Complex. Finally
we will have dinner before going to sleep.
Day 4
Inca Trail-Warmiwañusca
We will have breakfast before beginning our trek towards the
highest point of the Inca Trail, where we will have the chance
to observe different microclimates until we arrive at
Warmiwañusca at 13 780 f.a.s.l. Here we will have lunch. Then we
will continue walking until we arrive in Pacaymayo, where we
will have dinner before turning in for the night.
Day 5
Inca
Trail-Sayacmarca-Wiñaywayna
After breakfast we continue our trek. After 45 minutes we
will arrive at the second most important place of The Inca
Trail at 12 630 f.a.s.l. We will visit Runkurakay's
archaeological Complex and Sayacmarca .Later we will
continue walking towards Puyupatamarca ruins.
After lunch we will go to Wiñaywayna, to visit this
beautiful Incan Citadel. We will have free time before
having dinner.
Day 6
Inca Trail-
Machu Picchu
After having breakfast we will begin our last day of trek in
order to arrive in the lost city of The Incas : “Machu Picchu”.
First we will arrive at Inti Punku, from where we will have the
opportunity to appreciate the Citadel of Machu Picchu. When we
arrive in Machu Picchu we will visit the archaeological site for
about 3 hours . Finally we will have a meeting of the group to
go to the town of Machu Picchu to take lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, we will return by train to Cusco City where
you will be taken to your hotel
Day 7
Cusco / out
Breakfast
Transfer from your hotel to the airport or bus station.

The camps can vary according to the authorization and
assignation of UGM-INRENA.

recommended to book an additional night in Cusco. Four days is not enough time
to the see all the beauty that Cusco and the surrounding areas have to
offer. An extra day is highly recommended!

to stay in one of the hotels in the town of Machu Picchu. This will allow
you more time to appreciate the beauty of its construction, the wonderful
nature of its surroundings, and the peace of the mysterious atmosphere.
This will also provide you enough time to visit the hot springs and the
orchid gardens

Full Day river rafting in The Sacred
